Marina Aronin, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Speech-Language Pathologist | Founder of Roots to Rise

I have 15 years of experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations. I completed my master’s degree at Adelphi University with a summa cum laude.

I am DTTC and PROMPT trained (PROMPT© stands for Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets. It is a tactile-kinesthetic approach to speech therapy, which means that the speech-language pathologist uses touch cues on the client’s face (vocal folds, jaw, lips, tongue), to support and shape the correct movement of these articulators).

Furthermore, I am working toward becoming a functional nutritional coach.  I aim to look at the whole person and move toward root cause resolutions. I am committed to improving the wellness and health of my patients.

I have worked in a variety of settings including early intervention, schools, clinics, preschools and in the home environments. I have worked with children with a variety of speech and language disorders including articulation/phonology disorder, fluency disorder, apraxia, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have extensive experience working with various age groups.

I take pride in being an immigrant and understand the challenges of assimilating to a new culture and learning a new language. Helping adult patients find their “voice” and modify their accents so they can feel confident to speak their minds is a philosophy I hold dear to me. And I have a true passion for helping children, adults, and their families. Book with us now!

With gratitude,

Marina Aronin
